Organizational Structure
Our club is governed by a Board of Directors which consists of the club officers, 6 additional directors, & past president
Our club is 1 of 8 clubs in Division 5 of the Presidential Region in the Capital District. There is a Lt. Governor and a Regional Trustee.
Our club is a member of Kiwanis International, a worldwide organization governed by a board of 20 trustees.

Club Administration
Club bylaws define our club structure and operation.
Our club membership votes on:
o Election of club officers and directors
o Amendments to club bylaws

o Determines club policies
o Approves club projects & club contributions
o Sets and approves the club’s budget

Finances/Budgeting
· Administrative Account
o Income from club dues, meal charges, new member fees.
· Fundraising Account
o Income from public fund-raising projects or contributions and cannot be used to pay administrative expenses of the club.
· Income Account
o From 1993 Statler Brother final concert Tshirt sales.
o Board-approved transfer of funds to fundraising account on as needed annual basis
Club Dues and Fees
Our quarterly club dues are $110.
§ Billed in October, January, April & July
$42 are Kiwanis International dues
§ Capital District dues
§ Retained by the club for administrative costs
$12 provides liability insurance for clubs
activities
$8 is subscription to KIWANIS magazine
